Angeli, 33
How did you get to be such an avid traveler?
Growing up, my parents made sure to have family trips once in a while--primarily because we would visit our close relatives living abroad. This however, on the sideline gave me the opportunity to open my eyes to the exciting world of traveling.
(Machu Picchu, Peru)
What is your most memorable experience while on one of your travels?
I can never compare the travels that I have done. Each
destination is a unique experience. But if I can choose among them, I think that there are two most memorable experiences that first come to my mind.
First was our trip to Machu Picchu. It was such a long journey. But waiting for the sunrise as it unfolds- that wonder was just magical.
Second was our adventure in Mexico. We opted to drive by ourselves to reach our destination but we never knew how risky it was until we realized that for hours, it was only our car driving in that empty highway.

What are the best travel tips you've learned throughout your adventures?
It’s always good to have a back up! Whether it be your batteries, your memory card, your powerbank, or anything that will make you keep and remember that trip.
Patience is a travel necessity. Being in a different place, away from your comfort zones, can easily get you annoyed. But traveling is about learning and discovering, so don’t stress and sweat over the things you can’t control.
It’s ok to get lost! Having an itinerary is always a good idea, but if you want to see the real deal, you have to explore. Start walking without thinking on where exactly you’re going.

(The Széchenyi Chain Bridge connecting Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest)
(Taj Majal in Agra,India)
If you could pick one destination from all the places you've been to, which would you recommend to someone and why?
It would be unfair to choose a destination which I can recommend because honestly each city, each country, has it’s own individuality and uniqueness. But what I can recommend is traveling with somebody, especially with someone who you can have a good laugh with! Traveling alone is still a brave choice but traveling with somebody will always make it unforgettable and memorable. Thanks to my travel buddy, #MrAndMrsBHoneyVentures!
