Ethan David
From taking up Tourism in college to styling tresses, Ethan has become one of the in-demand hairstylists working in the fashion and entertainment industries today. He has a unique imagination that incorporates fresh, sultry and sexy designs. From simple to avant-garde, Ethan's signature trademark is his flawless interpretation of “messy hair."
His hair designs have been featured in Preview, Metro, L’Officiel Manila, Cosmopolitan, Rogue, Chalk, Meg and recently going international with London-based magazine, Suitcase. Ethan also recently got the opportunity to style Aimee Song, an international fashion blogger based out of LA.
At the age of 17, Ethan started hairstyling and a year later he met hairstylist Mark Familara, whom he credits for taking him under his wing and helping him get his start in the world of hair and fashion. From there his career has taken off and has no signs of slowing down. Now at just 20 years old, Ethan is just getting started.
We speak to Ethan to give us some hair tips.

How did you get your start in the industry?
It all started with apprenticeship. When I was still under Mark Familara, I learned about different techniques and hairstyles and how to handle things and situations. I learned how to be humble every time.
Which iconic hairstyles do you love?
I really love the beauty look of the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2015 collection. There's a special technique and special products needed to do that kind of hairstyle and I love it so much! When I see their campaign it really catches my attention.
Who are the celebrities you have a hair crush on?
OMG Jlo is the one! She's my ultimate hair idol. Actually I'm following her hairstylist on Instagram, I really love how he does Jlo's hair. I'm really a fan of messy hair and JLO nailed it!
Can you give us any hair tips?
Second day hair is not a bad thing guys! Just spray some dry shampoo and then you're good to go!
Beyonce or Kim Kardashian?
Definitely Beyonce! Aside from Jlo, Beyonce is my hair inspiration as well! I love how creative and fearless she is with her hairstyle every appearance. I love her so much!
What hair trends do you foresee coming?
Effortless messy hair is still here to stay!
